  • Beacon Bookmarks is a collaboration between husband-and-wife team Kristy and Jon Reichert. We make all our bookmarks by hand in our wood shop located in the Hudson Valley. The bookmarks are made from high-quality scrap hardwood, not thin veneers, so can withstand a little abuse. We use an oil finish to protect and bring out the natural warm color of the wood. Each bookmark is hand stamped with either one of our original drawings or designs.

    Wood may seem like an odd choice for a bookmark, but they are very light and sturdy and will fit in any book. Unlike using paper or receipts, they won't get lost in the pages!
